2012 Summer Conducting School - Registrations Open
In 2012, ABODA Victoria's annual Summer Conducting School will be held from 8-14 January at St Catherine's School in Toorak, Victoria. Registrations are open, and Early Bird registrants receive a discount through 18 November.
This year, ABODA Victoria is pleased to welcome Dr Peter Morris to Melbourne. Dr Morris lectures in conducting at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and is also the Director of Music at Villanova College, Brisbane. Dr Morris brings an invaluable collection of experience and knowledge of both conducting and conducting pedagogy as it pertains to Australian music education a performance.
In recent years, the ABODA Victoria Summer Conducting School has attracted a wide audience of attendees from around Australia and internationally. Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application with full payment as soon as possible. Full conducting places are limited, and overflow applications are placed on a waitlist. Observers are also welcome at a reduced rate.
