1. The Australian Band and Orchestra Directors Association (Victorian Branch) (Hereafter “ABODA Vic”) collects personal information primarily for membership registration, event management, advising members about activities that may be in their interest, and managing publications.

2. The types of information collected will include but not be limited to:
Name
Phone number[s]
Physical address
Electronic address[es]

3. ABODA Vic assigns a unique identifier (membership number) to each member for membership and event management. This identifier shall not be matched with unique identifiers from any other source.

4. ABODA Vic will not disclose privately held information about any ABODA Vic member or related organisation, unless that member or organisation gives permission to do so in writing. This policy shall not restrict ABODA Vic's ability to provide members with information and resources supplied by third parties.

5. ABODA Vic collects information through the use of various physical and electronic forms. These forms may be completed manually and submitted to ABODA Vic by post, or completed electronically and submitted electronically. ABODA Vic does not take responsibility for security during the electronic transmission of information.

6. ABODA Vic will keep all privately held information accurate and up-to-date to the best of its ability.

7. By contacting the Secretary at any reasonable time, an ABODA Vic member may request a copy of privately held information about themselves.
